Story Al Stewart

Cet écossais a écumé les clubs folks londoniens dès l’âge de 19 ans. En 1967, ses chansons confessionnelles et introspectives seront éditées sur Bed-Sitter Images qui restera confidentiel. Al Stewart sera ensuite connu pour son album et single Year of the Cat en 1976. L’opus suivant, Time Passages paru en 1978, sera également un succès… A l’écoute de certains riffs, on constate que Mark Knopfler n’a pas été influencé que par JJ Cale.

Les amateurs de folk revivaliste apprécieront certainement cette Story of the Cat, subtil et délicat cinéma sonore allant de 1967 à 2008.
