John Hiatt story

Originaire de l’indiana, John Hiatt (prononcez Aîe-Hate) déménage à Nashville, à 18 ans et obtiens un emploi d'auteur compositeur. Après s’être produit dans de nombreux clubs du Tennessee, il sort un 1er opus chez ‘Epic’ en 1974, Hangin' Around the Observatory, qui sera un échec commercial.  Le succès n’arrive qu’à partir de 1983 pour Riding With the King, et en 1987 l’album Bring the Family connaitra la consécration.  Plusieurs de ses compositions seront popularisés par de nombreux artistes dont Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Aaron Neville, Delbert McClinton, Carl Perkins, Buddy Guy, Bob Seger, Linda Ronstadt, Jeff Healey, etc…

Je propose donc aux profanes, amateurs de Folk Rock, de découvrir 30 extraits de ses 25 albums studio/live, de 1974 à 2021… J’espère aussi que les connaisseurs auront plaisir à parcourir cette rétrospective.
