ROOTS & CULTURE est une émission Reggae sur Radio G, tous les mercredi en live 22-23h puis en replay, avec la playlist des morceaux passés.

ROOTS & CULTURE est avant tout une émission musicale, avec de bonnes vibrations, des pépites méconnues, des voix mélodieuses, des classiques Reggae, du Dub, jusqu'au Rub A Dub et au Reggae plus contemporain.

Des émission à thème, sur la musique jamaïcaine, ses racines, des sujets plus universels ou d'actualité.

L'origine de cette culture musicale sera explicitée, car elle est méconnue au final et souvent vue comme un cliché, alors qu'elle a influencé énormément de musiques modernes de par le monde. Le but est aussi de rendre hommage et de mettre en lumière des artistes innovants et inspirants.

ROOTS & CULTURE c'est aussi des messages, la transmission d'une parole, d'histoires qui viennent de loin, mais qui parlent à chacun d'entre nous. Il y aura aussi des anecdotes croustillantes. C'est aussi une émission engagée, car le Reggae est une musique rebelle et positive, proche du peuple, avec en plus une dimension spirituelle. Une musique qui libère les esprits.
